ELGi Equipments - Data Architect

Role Brief :The role holder will design and manage a scalable, secure, and modern enterprise data architecture that enables data-driven decision-making and digital transformation across ELGi. This role ensures the organization has the right data infrastructure, governance, and innovation capabilities to deliver high-quality insights and strategic business value.Role & Responsibilities :- Enterprise-wide architecture for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data- Reusable pipelines and connectors across systems (ERP, MES, IoT)- Unified conceptual, logical, and physical data models- Enterprise-wide metadata, dictionaries, and cataloging- Partner with business, IT, and analytics teams for delivery success- Enterprise-wide architecture for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data- Design and delivery of data lakes, warehouses, and real-time streaming systems- Standardized data models, metadata, and lineage tracking frameworks- Cloud-native data platform architecture using AWS, Azure, or GCP- Support for AI/ML and BI initiatives through robust data pipelines.- Architectures that support privacy, security, and regulatory frameworks (DPDP, GDPR)- Design and delivery of data lakes, warehouses, and real-time streaming systemsPreferred candidate profile :- 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related areas- Bachelor's in CS / IT / Engineering (Masters preferred)- Cloud Architect Certified (AWS, Azure, GCP)- CDMP / Big Data / Modeling Certifications- Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms in global or manufacturing environments- Successful track record in enabling BI, AI/ML, and data governance capabilities (ref:hirist.tech)
