Process Engineering Specialist - Cell Manufacturing

Process Optimization: Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for EV cells and battery packs to enhance efficiency, quality,and output. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies and automation to improve manufacturing processes. Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new technologies into production. Equipment Selection and Maintenance: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimalequipment performance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration. Collaborate with design and product development teams to align manufacturing processes with product specifications. Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets for process engineering projectsand initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities withoutcompromising quality or safety. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing processes– PFMEAs, Controland Reaction plans. Implement measuresto ensure compliance with safety standardsand regulatory requirements. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Manufacturing Process Engineering team. Providementorship, training, and development opportunities for team members. Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
