Job Title : Oracle Technical Software Engineering
Location : Remote
Role: Contract
Position Overview
- Our client is seeking experienced Oracle Fusion Software Engineers across multiple levels to support the design, development, integration, reporting, extension, and modernization of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications across Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), ERP, and related business functions.
- The team works closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, architects, product owners, QA, and support teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable Oracle solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions across Finance, SCM, ERP, and related modules.
- Develop and support Oracle reporting and data solutions using BI Publisher, OTBI, FDI, BICC, FBDI, and ESS.
- Design, develop, and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)integrations and enterprise data flows.
- Develop Oracle Fusion extensions and applications using VBS/VBCS and support ORDS/API development.
- Develop and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL solutions for reporting, integrations, data conversion, and application extensions.
- Work with REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON services and integration patterns.
- Support Redwood customization and migration initiatives and Oracle Fusion modernization efforts.
- Participate in technical design, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, product owners, architects, QA, and support teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Follow enterprise architecture, security, development, documentation, and quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and SDLC activities.
- Provide code reviews, technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer based on experience level.
- Contribute to reusable technical patterns, documentation, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with level-specific expectations ranging from 3+ to 10+ years.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud technical development.
- Experience with Oracle Finance, SCM, ERP, or related Oracle Cloud modules.
- Experience with one or more of the following: OIC, VBS, VBCS, FBDI, ESS, OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, BICC, ORDS.
- Strong SQL/PLSQL development skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with Redwood customization/migration is preferred, particularly for senior-level roles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across technical, functional, and business teams.
- Experience with mentoring, technical leadership, architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, and OCI capabilities will be expected at the higher levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud certifications.
- Experience in large enterprise SaaS environments.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion modernization and reduction of legacy customizations.
- Experience with OCI monitoring, logging, performance alerting, and dashboarding.
- Strong experience creating reusable technical solutions, standards, and documentation.
