Job Title : Senior SAP MM Consultant (S/4HANA Procurement & Supply Chain)Location : Chennai (Hybrid Permanent Role, 4 Days Onsite)Experience Required : 10+ Years in IT (Minimum 8+ Years in Active SAP MM Configurations & Implementations)Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days MaxEducation Required : Bachelor's Degree in IT / EngineeringJob Summary : We are seeking a highly technical Senior SAP MM Consultant to lead the configuration, deployment, and end-to-end support of our enterprise supply chain platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for mapping complex business requirements directly into SAP S/4HANA Material Management functionalities, covering core Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Material Valuation tracks.The ideal candidate is a seasoned deployment leader who bridges the gap between intricate business sourcing models and robust SAP system architectures. You will own the translation of business requirements into detailed functional specifications, drive cross-functional integration boundaries with Finance (FI) and Sales (SD), utilize advanced SAP Fiori layouts, and spearhead testing execution lines to maximize supply chain productivity and process efficiency.Key Responsibilities : 1. S/4HANA MM System Configuration : - Configure, implement, and support core SAP S/4HANA MM functions including Material Master Data, complex Purchase Orders, Valuation classes, and automated Goods Receipts processes.2. Cross-Module Integration : - Architect and test seamless system integrations between SAP MM and parallel enterprise modules, specifically managing dependencies with SAP Finance (FI) and Sales & Distribution (SD).3. Intercompany & Logistics Workflows : - Design and optimize complex Intercompany transactions, stock transport orders (STO), and advanced procurement process flows.4. Functional Architecture & Spec Design : - Analyze high-level business specifications and translate them into granular, robust functional blueprints and technical system designs.5. Testing Lifecycle Ownership : - Design, build, and execute comprehensive test execution scripts covering Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios.6. Incident Resolution & Operations Support : - Serve as the senior technical tier to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical bottlenecks in live procurement and inventory management transactions.7. Continuous Improvement & Upgrades : - Participate actively in SAP version upgrades, system enhancement releases, and process-improvement sprints inside an Agile/Product Development Organization (PDO) structure.Skills & Qualifications : Required Technical DNA : - S/4HANA MM Mastery : Extensive, hands-on configuration and optimization experience within the SAP S/4HANA MM platform (A absolute MUST).- Implementation Track Record : Proven background navigating at least two complete end-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations.- Modern Interface Adaptability : Direct working knowledge and functional execution using SAP Fiori tools and applications.- Tenure : 10+ years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 8 years spent in active software/SAP configuration product development.Preferred Qualifications : - Financial Alignment : Foundational knowledge of S/4HANA Finance / Simple Financials / Smart Financial setups.- Strong practical familiarity operating within Agile/PDO development methodologies.- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal communication skills to face business teams independently.
