About the job

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Interior Team Lead to drive business growth by converting leads into customers, ensuring seamless client onboarding, managing the design process, and leading a team of interior designers. The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of sales expertise, design understanding, leadership, and client relationship management to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibility

• Convert leads into confirmed projects by understanding client requirements and presenting suitable design solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, consultations, and site discussions to identify customer needs.
• Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, quotations, and project proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and close sales while achieving monthly revenue targets.
• Drive additional revenue through upselling modular furniture, dcor, furnishings, and other value-added services.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for every client after sales closure.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the client lifecycle.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and timely updates.
• Manage client expectations, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure successful project completion and seamless handover.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers.
• Allocate projects, monitor team performance, and ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the design team.
• Ensure adherence to company processes, quality standards, and customer service excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Good years of experience in interior design sales, residential interiors, or client relationship management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in sales closing and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of residential interior design, modular furniture, and space planning.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and regional languages.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
