Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as an ABAP Developer specializing in the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (RAP) and SAP UI5 Fiori technologies. This pivotal role is dedicated to designing, developing, and maintaining robust enterprise applications within the IT Services sector. The successful candidate will drive the modernization of legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration and high-performance delivery of business solutions. This position is critical for enhancing our technical capabilities, optimizing application scalability, and delivering innovative user experiences that align with current digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable backend services using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework).
- Design and implement intuitive, responsive user interfaces utilizing SAP UI5 and Fiori elements.
- Manage and resolve complex issues related to ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) checks and RAP contract violations to ensure code quality.
- Develop and integrate secure data exchange mechanisms using REST, SOAP, and OData APIs.
- Configure and maintain authentication protocols, including SAML and Single Sign-On (SSO) frameworks.
- Perform rigorous performance tuning and scalability analysis on SAP HANA and relational database systems.
- Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) principles to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

- Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP development within the IT Services industry.
- Proven expertise in working with SAP HANA and relational database architectures.
- Strong proficiency in resolving ATC and RAP contract-related challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to implement REST, SOAP, and OData API integrations.
- Solid understanding of SAML and SSO security frameworks.
- Experience in optimizing application performance and ensuring system scalability.
- Advanced skills in RAP or BOPF development methodologies.
- Competence in building applications with SAP UI5 and Fiori design standards.
- Mastery of ABAP Objects (OOABAP) programming concepts.
