EPAM - Java Full Stack Developer

Role : Full Stack Java Developer - Java & AngularJob Description : 5 to 12 Years, you will be responsible for helping to migrating the front-end screens of the portware trading platform from Java Swing, as well as backend Java to support it.You will work closely with client's development team to ensure a seamless transition and deliver an enhanced user experience for institutional buy-side clients. This is an on-site role, requiring you to work from our EPAM location.Responsibilities : - Anticipated 70% time dedicated to Java backend development + 30% time dedicated to Front-development Angular- Changes to Java backend to support the migration of Front end and added capabilities- Assist the migration of user interface components from Java Swing, which includes Java Backend development ensuring consistency, functionality, and performance- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions- Engage with our financial services client to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into the development process- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the migrated components to ensure they meet functional and performance criteria- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize the application for speed and responsiveness- Maintain detailed documentation of the development process, including migration plans, technical specifications, and user guidesRequirements : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in backend Java, PLUS (Angular) development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects- Proficiency in backend Java, PLUS any of the following (Angular) TypeScript; experience with RESTful APIs- Proven experience in migrating applications from Java Swing or similar technologies to modern JavaScript frameworks is highly desirable- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphereNice to have : - Relevant certifications in Java, Angular for front-end development (ref:hirist.tech)
