Manager - Customer Development

Responsibilities

  • Grow the business within current key strategic clients, new services for existing clients, and increase share of wallet.
  • Develop teams in growing relationships with new business and sector accounts across the region.
  • Meet/exceed target for New Business Revenue from existing customers.
  • Targeted customer revenue and profit growth.
  • Financial budget achievement including new business growth targets.
  • Ensure service levels are met in line with contractual commitments.
  • Manage customer contract negotiations.
  • Measure and manage the overall performance of all functional partners for customers against pre-agreed performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement & regulatory and corporate obligations.
  • Establish effective relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
  • Investigate and review key customers' supply chain needs and identify where DSC can best apply value.
  • Coordinate regular interaction between DSC internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience within Logistics/3PL and/or supply chain with a significant focus and/or experience in customer management and new business acquisitions.

Qualification: Postgraduate from a recognized institution in supply chain or logistics.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills at all management levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead multiple divisional operations and functions within the country.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong financial acumen including profit margins and accounts receivables management.
  • Ability to support high-performance service culture within the functional department.
  • Experience with succession planning and international business exposure.
  • Strong compliance with regulatory and corporate obligations.
  • Ability to manage changing scope and project acceptance criteria.
