L2 Support Engineer (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID & Microsoft 365)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2
Support Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Active Directory,
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 (O365) administration and
support. The candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting
identity, access, messaging, and collaboration services in a hybrid enterprise
environment. The ideal candidate should have experience
supporting large-scale Microsoft environments, excellent troubleshooting
capabilities, and a good understanding of identity and access management,
Microsoft 365 services, and operational support processes.  

Responsibilities

 Key Responsibilities 

Active Directory Administration

• Administer
  and support Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). 
• Manage
  users, groups, service accounts, computer objects, and Organizational
  Units (OUs). 
• Troubleshoot
  authentication issues related to Kerberos, LDAP, DNS, and Group Policies. 
• Monitor
  and resolve AD replication issues. 
• Manage
  Domain Controllers, Sites & Services, FSMO roles, and Trust
  Relationships. 
• Perform
  AD health checks and routine maintenance activities. 
• Support
  Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes. 

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

• Administer
  Microsoft Entra ID users, groups, devices, and enterprise applications. 
• Manage
  and troubleshoot Azure AD Connect synchronization. 
• Configure
  and support:
• Single
  Sign-On (SSO) 
• Multi-Factor
  Authentication (MFA) 
• Conditional
  Access Policies 
• Self-Service
  Password Reset (SSPR) 
• Identity
  Protection 
• Identity
  Governance
• Investigate
  authentication, sign-in, access, and synchronization issues. 
• Support
  hybrid identity and federation services. 

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage
  Exchange Online mailboxes and mail-enabled objects. 
• Administer
  Shared Mailboxes, Distribution Groups, and Microsoft 365 Groups. 
• Troubleshoot
  mail flow, delivery failures, Outlook, and mailbox-related issues. 
• Provide
  administration and support for Microsoft Teams. 
• Manage
  SharePoint Online and OneDrive access permissions. 
• Handle
  Microsoft 365 license provisioning and administration. 
• Support
  Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance features. 

Incident & Service Request Management

• Provide
  Level 2 support for incidents and service requests. 
• Troubleshoot
  and resolve complex identity and collaboration-related issues. 
• Perform
  Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents. 
• Collaborate
  with L3 teams and Microsoft Support for escalations. 
• Ensure
  adherence to SLA and operational standards. 
• Prepare
  and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles. 

Monitoring & Operational Support

• Monitor
  AD, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 service health. 
• Participate
  in change management and maintenance activities. 
• Generate
  operational reports and service metrics. 
• Support
  audits and compliance-related activities.

Qualifications
