Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Sr. Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager Sales to strengthen our Sales team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about business development, customer relationship management, and delivering value-driven solutions in the construction equipment industry.
You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, driving equipment sales, and building long-term partnerships with customers across your assigned territory.
Roles & Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Promote SCHWING Stetter's complete range of concrete and construction equipment to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, infrastructure companies, RMC customers, and channel partners.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
- Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with service, application, and finance teams to ensure seamless customer support.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM records.
- Represent SCHWING Stetter India at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Customer-centric approach with strong commercial acumen.
- Good understanding of construction equipment, infrastructure, or capital equipment sales.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and convert leads into business.
- Strong planning, reporting, and territory management skills.
- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering disciplines.
- 3 to 8 years of relevant field sales experience , preferably in construction equipment, heavy machinery, capital equipment, or allied industries.
