Software Tester - Manual & Automation Testing

Role Overview :As a Software Tester, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our critical immigration technology platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts, translating complex requirements into comprehensive test strategies. Your daily work will involve designing, executing, and automating test cases, identifying defects, and validating solutions to guarantee a seamless and error-free experience for our global users, directly contributing to the integrity and success of our immigration services.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities, covering functional, regression, performance, and security aspects.- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API interfaces to identify defects and ensure adherence to specifications.- Design, implement, and maintain robust automation test scripts using industry-standard tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.- Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment and post-release validation.- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet end-user needs and expectations.- Analyze and report test results, track defects, and work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution and retesting.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall quality assurance practices.- Conduct database testing to verify data integrity and consistency across various system components.Required Skillset:- Proven expertise in Manual Testing and Automation Testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.- Demonstrated proficiency with Automation Testing Tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) for web and API automation.- Solid experience in designing and executing various types of testing, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Security Testing.- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive Test Cases, test plans, and test strategies.- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance principles.- Experience with API Testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.- Familiarity with Database Testing concepts and SQL queries for data validation.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment.- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.- Adaptability to work in a distributed team setup across multiple time zones (India, Canada, Australia).- Candidates with 3 to 14 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance are encouraged to apply.
