Responsibilities:

• Create highly visual, animated PowerPoint presentations for aviation and technical training.
• Transform complex technical concepts into simple, intuitive visual stories.
• Use Morph, Zoom, Motion Paths, masking, cropping, layering, and advanced animation techniques to create seamless sequences.
• Develop camera-like movement, object transformations, and visual transitions within PowerPoint.
• Create diagrams, simulations, and visual explanations rather than relying heavily on text.
• Design learning experiences where visuals progressively build an understanding of a concept.
• Research unfamiliar technical subjects independently and translate your findings into accurate visual explanations.
• Work with the instructional/content team to refine concepts while maintaining creative ownership of the visual solution.
• Build presentations that remain fully editable and professionally structured in PowerPoint .
• Develop reusable animation techniques, visual systems, and presentation assets.
• Create content for training presentations, animated explainers, educational videos, and digital learning materials.

What We Are Looking For:

Advanced PowerPoint Skills:

You should be comfortable using PowerPoint as a design and animation tool , not just as a presentation application.

You should have strong knowledge of:

• Morph transitions
• Zoom / Summary Zoom / Section Zoom
• Advanced object animation
• Motion Paths
• Animation sequencing and timing
• Layering and object positioning
• Masking and cropping techniques
• Shape manipulation
• Custom diagrams and illustrations
• Scale and depth
• Object transformations
• Progressive reveals
• Complex multi-step animation sequences
• Slide-to-slide visual continuity

Experience creating sophisticated animation entirely within PowerPoint is highly desirable.

Visual Storytelling:

You should be able to take a simple idea such as:

Aircraft → Hot Day → High Airport → Lower Air Density → Reduced Performance → Longer Takeoff

and turn it into a compelling visual sequence without filling the screen with paragraphs of text.

You should understand:

• Visual hierarchy
• Composition
• Spatial storytelling
• Timing and pacing
• Continuity between scenes
• Information flow
• Scale and perspective
• Visual metaphors
• Progressive disclosure
• Learning through visual demonstration

We want someone who can make the audience see why something happens , rather than simply tell them.

Creativity:

We are particularly interested in candidates who can develop unexpected solutions using familiar tools.

For example, we want to see work that makes someone think:

“How did they do that in PowerPoint?”

You should enjoy experimenting with:

A beautiful template is not enough.

We are looking for creative construction and visual problem-solving .

Research & Technical Understanding:

You will occasionally be given a topic that you have never worked with before.

You should be comfortable with:

• Researching the subject independently.
• Finding reliable and authoritative sources.
• Understanding the underlying concept.
• Identifying what is visually important.
• Converting the information into an accurate visual explanation.
• Checking your work for technical accuracy.

Aviation knowledge is not mandatory , but the ability to understand technical subjects and communicate them visually is essential.

Candidates with aviation, engineering, science, education, e-learning, or technical communication experience may find this particularly relevant.

Who Can Apply:

We are not primarily looking at years of experience.

A candidate with 1–2 years of experience and an exceptional portfolio can be a stronger candidate than someone with 5 years of conventional presentation-design experience.

We are interested in demonstrated skill in:

PowerPoint + Animation + Visual Thinking + Storytelling + Research

Students, recent graduates, freelancers, motion designers, presentation designers, graphic designers, instructional designers, and self-taught creators are welcome to apply if they can demonstrate the required skillset.

Portfolio Is More Important Than Your Resume:

Your portfolio should demonstrate what you can actually build .

We would particularly like to see:

• Advanced PowerPoint presentations
• Animated explainers
• Educational or training content
• Infographics or technical diagrams
• Motion graphics
• Data storytelling
• Interactive presentations
• Complex PowerPoint animations
• Before/after examples showing how you transformed an ordinary concept into a visual experience

If possible, include examples that demonstrate how the animation was constructed , not just the final visual result.
