As an MS/DNB Orthopaedician you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and providing medical and surgical treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise in orthopaedic surgery will be essential in improving patients mobility and reducing their pain enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team you will contribute to delivering highquality patient care and advancing the field of orthopaedics.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations and diagnosing orthopaedic conditions.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
  • Performing orthopaedic surgeries with precision and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as Xrays MRIs and CT scans.
  • Educating patients and their families about orthopaedic conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborating with orthopaedic specialists nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Participating in research academic activities and continuous medical education to stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopaedics.
  • Adhering to medical ethics patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols within the orthopaedic department.

Required qualifications

  • MS/DNB in Orthopaedics from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice as an Orthopaedician.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating orthopaedic conditions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing various orthopaedic surgeries including joint replacements and fracture fixation.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy physiology and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff effectively.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in emergency and highpressure situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in the field of orthopaedics.
  • Attention to detail empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  • Sound understanding of medical ethics confidentiality and patient privacy regulations.
