Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Amgen seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Hyderabad to design and deploy production-grade ML services for biologics discovery. Responsibilities
- Design and deploy production-grade ML services and APIs for biologics discovery platforms
- Containerize and serve models for batch and real-time inference workflows
- Establish MLOps practices for experiment tracking, model management, and deployment
- Build CI/CD pipelines and implement software engineering best practices for ML applications
- Monitor model performance, data quality, and service health with troubleshooting
Requirements
- Doctorate in data science, computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related field plus 4+ years experience
- Master's degree plus 8+ years directly related experience
- Python programming and software engineering fundamentals including testing and version control
- Production ML systems and model-serving platform experience
- MLOps tools experience such as MLflow, experiment tracking, and CI/CD
- Docker, Kubernetes, REST/gRPC APIs, and cloud-native deployment knowledge
- AWS, Databricks, Spark, or similar cloud platform familiarity
