Senior Flutter Developer - POS System

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Developer to lead development efforts on the ELERA POS (Point of Sale) Flutter application. This role requires deep expertise in Flutter/Dart development, architectural design skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for a complex enterprise POS system.

About the Project

Project: ELERA POS Flutter Application (enterprise-grade POS system)

Platform: Multi-platform (Windows Desktop primary, Android secondary)

Architecture: Multi-module, feature-based architecture with clean code principles

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Design and develop scalable Flutter solutions for complex POS features

Lead technical discussions with external stakeholders and local team.

Review and approve code from team members, ensuring quality and consistency

Identify and resolve technical debt and performance bottlenecks

Participate in planning and estimations.

Provide technical guidance on complex problem-solving

Development & Implementation

Develop complex features and critical system components

Integrate with backend APIs and real-time communication systems (MQTT)

Optimize application performance for desktop and mobile platforms

Handle multi-window desktop application requirements

Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab

Debug and resolve critical production issues

Required Technical Skills

Core Expertise (Must Have)

Dart Language: Expert-level knowledge of Dart 3.0+ features and best practices

State Management: Deep expertise in Riverpod (2.x) including code generation

Architecture: Strong understanding of clean architecture, SOLID principles, DDD

Design Patterns: Factory, Repository, Singleton, Observer, and other GoF patterns

Flutter Ecosystem (Advanced)

Navigation: Advanced go_router implementation with deep linking and guards

Expert-level REST API integration using Dio with interceptors and retry logic

Code Generation: Build Runner, Freezed, JSON Serializable, Riverpod Generator

Real-time Communication: MQTT client implementation and message handling

Local Storage: Secure storage, SharedPreferences, encryption (encrypt package)

Responsive UI: ScreenUtil, responsive_builder for multi-device layouts

Platform-Specific Skills

Desktop Development: Window Manager, multi-window support, screen retrieval

Mobile Development: Android and iOS platform-specific implementations

Testing & Quality

Testing Frameworks: flutter test, Mockito, integration test, golden tests

TDD/BDD: Test-driven or behavior-driven development practices

Code Quality: Linting, static analysis, code coverage tools

Debugging: Advanced debugging with Flutter DevTools, performance profiling

DevOps & Tools

SDD or AI-DLC methodologies for software design and development.

Git/GitLab: Advanced Git workflows, branching strategies, cherry-picking, rebasing

CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and optimization

Build Systems: Flutter build process, flavors, custom build scripts (PowerShell)

Package Management: Dependency management, versioning, conflict resolution

Performance: App profiling, memory management, optimization techniques

Education & Experience

Experience with hardware peripheral integration

Japanese language proficiency (reading technical documentation)
