We are looking for a passionate and skilled Continental Chef who can create delicious continental cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of continental dishes including appetizers, salads, pasta, grills, sandwiches, and main courses.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor food stock levels and coordinate with purchasing for timely inventory management.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain kitchen cost control.
- Supervise kitchen assistants and support smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely food delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or QSR brands.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, sauces, grilling, plating, and food presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Creative mindset with passion for culinary innovation.
- Team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred.
