Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations in a manufacturing company. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing routine accounting entries, and assisting the senior accounts team in day-to-day finance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting entries in Tally
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow-up on outstanding payments
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Maintain and update financial records accurately
- Assist in preparing basic financial and management reports
- Ensure adherence to basic accounting principles
- Coordinate with the senior accounts team for reporting and compliance tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior experience in accounting roles (preferably 2 years)
- Proficiency in Tally software
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
