CAD Designer - Civil 3D Specialist (Road & Highways)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer with expertise in Civil 3D and Road & Highways design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and supporting the design of highway and transportation infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

ey Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Develop road corridor models, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and grading designs.
• Prepare plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for road and highway projects.
• Generate quantity take-offs, earthwork calculations, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, design standards, and quality procedures.
• Review design changes and update drawings accordingly.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Support project teams in meeting deadlines and client deliverables.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience in Road & Highways design projects.
• Knowledge of alignments, corridors, surfaces, grading, and utility coordination.
• Understanding of highway design standards and engineering drawing practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design calculations.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Qualifications

• Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Road & Highways projects.
• Experience working on domestic or international infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
