Freelance Motion Graphic Designer

We are looking for a skilled Freelance Motion Graphic Designer to work on a range of visual content including government communication films, brand videos, corporate AVs, and documentaries . The ideal candidate should have a strong command of animation, typography, visual composition, and experience in creating impactful motion graphics that enhance storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and animate motion graphics for intros, explainer segments, lower thirds, infographics, and end screens
• Collaborate with directors, editors, and content teams to develop visual treatments and animations that align with the film's tone and message
• Understand the brief and deliver high-quality motion design within deadlines
• Adapt visual styles based on project—ranging from clean corporate to cinematic storytelling
• Make revisions based on internal/client feedback

Requirements:

• 2 years of proven experience in motion graphics
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop (Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus)
• Strong portfolio showcasing animated work across documentaries, brand films, or explainer content
• Ability to handle tight turnarounds with attention to detail
• Based in Mumbai (available for in-person meetings or hybrid collaboration when required)

Preferred:

• Experience working on government communication projects or public service content
• Understanding of multilingual and culturally diverse visual design
• Familiarity with government branding guidelines is a plus
