Position : Senior Data EngineerExperience : 8 to 10 YearsEmployment Type : Full-TimeJob Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in SQL, data warehousing, transformation frameworks, and orchestration while leveraging AI/LLMs to accelerate development and improve engineering productivity.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines.- Build scalable ETL/ELT workflows using modern transformation frameworks.- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data models.- Ensure data quality, reliability, lineage, and governance across pipelines.- Implement and manage workflow orchestration using DAG-based tools.- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.- Drive architectural decisions for scalable and production-grade data platforms.- Utilize AI/LLMs to enhance engineering workflows, automation, and productivity.Required Skills : - 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.- Expert-level SQL and Data Warehousing knowledge.- Hands-on experience with dbt or SQLMesh (mandatory).- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling.- Experience with workflow orchestration and DAG-based tools (Airflow or similar).- Knowledge of data lineage, monitoring, and data quality practices.- Strong problem-solving, system design, and analytical skills.- Proven experience building production-grade data solutions.- Hands-on experience using LLMs/AI tools to improve development workflows.Preferred Skills : - Experience with Databricks.- Knowledge of Vector Search, Embeddings, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI agents.- Experience in startup or product-based environments.- Exposure to FinTech or Financial Services domain.Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.What We're Looking For : - Strong ownership mindset with the ability to solve problems independently.- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Passion for building scalable, reliable, and high-quality data platforms.
