Job DescriptionRole : QA Engineer with AppiumLocation : Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Panchkula, Mumbai, GurugramExperience : 4+ yearsNotice Period : Immediate to 15 daysDuties and Responsibilities : - Create and execute automated test scripts using Appium for mobile apps.- Collaborate with developers to design test strategies based on app requirements.- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on mobile applications.- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.- Conduct thorough test planning to ensure high-quality releases.- Maintain and update automation test suites for better coverage.Skills & Attributes : - Appium Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with Appium for automating mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms.- Scripting Languages : Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.- Mobile Testing : Solid understanding of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.- Test Management : Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.- CI/CD Integration : Knowledge of integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.- API Testing : Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.- Debugging Skills : Strong debugging skills to analyze test failures and provide root cause analysis.- Agile Environment : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile processes like sprint planning and daily stand-ups.- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Technical Skills : Appium, Mobile Testing, Java, Python, JavaScript, JIRA, TestRail, Jenkins, GitLab, API Testing, Postman, REST Assured, CI/CD, Agile, Debugging.
