The role involves processing and managing utility bill payments through the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS). The person will handle end-to-end BBPS transactions, ensure timely bill settlements, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process customer bill payment requests via BBPS for electricity, water, gas, DTH,
2. mobile/postpaid, broadband, and other utility categories.
3. Verify biller details, customer IDs, and bill amounts before transaction execution.
4. Monitor transaction status (initiated, pending, success, failed) on the BBPS platform/agent dashboard.
5. Reconcile daily transactions.
6. Handle failed/pending transactions, raise disputes, and coordinate refunds.
7. Maintain transaction logs, generate MIS reports, and support audits.
8. Assist customers/agents with BBPS-related queries, receipts, and payment confirmations.

A. Eligibility criteria:

1. Graduate in any discipline.

2. 1-2 years of experience in payments or fintech operations.

3. Basic understanding of digital payment systems (UPI, BBPS, NEFT/IMPS).

4. Proficiency in MS Excel and transaction reconciliation.

5. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

6. Attention to detail and ability to work under transaction deadlines.

B. Skills required:

1. Knowledge of BBPS architecture.

2. Familiarity with payment gateway.

3. Basic troubleshooting for failed transactions.

4. Customer handling and dispute resolution skills.
