Executive / Senior Executive - Safety

• Every day plant round and identify unsafe act and condition and report to department manager and follow up for its compliance
• Monitoring / Review / improvement & strict compliance of PPE compliance at site.
• Maintaining of fire equipment’s stocks & follow the purchase procedures of fire equipment’s.
• Monitoring of Spillage/leakages, gas release & Environment Pollution at site. Insist & support to department for Corrective & Preventive action.
• Monitoring & maintaining of Fire & safety equipment’s like fire hydrant system, Fire extinguisher, safety showers, Airline kits etc. in healthy condition.
• Monitoring & review of new requirement of Fire & safety equipment’s like fire hydrant system, Fire extinguisher, safety showers, Airline kits etc. in respective areas.
• Imparting of safety talk & also monitoring of Safety talk training by department itself is followed in respective sections.
• Closing & reporting of unsafe condition/act reported in BBS (my setu software)
• Implementation & monitoring of safety procedures (SOPs) are followed in respective section.
• Issue of safety memo to employees who are violating safety policy. Records to be maintained and submit to HR for further action as per policy
• Issue of work permits like hot work, confined space, heavy lifting etc. & monitoring of all permits whether they are followed as per SOP or not.
• Conduct Daily Contractor safety talk, prepare talk material & maintain records.
• Imparting of safety trainings based on need identification, visitor training
• Maintenance, servicing & Purchase of fire equipment and maintaining of records as per statutory & ISO.
• Daily monitoring of fireman activity & planning, management of manpower in shift
• Implementation and monitoring of Incident Investigation guidelines and tracking & follow up of recommendations of investigation in their respective areas.
• Carry out schedule Safety inspection as per checklist of the sections
• Investigation of first aid accident/Incident and near miss of the section.
• Supporting to ERT team, Induction training activity etc. as and when required.
• Man Power Handling.
• Training to employees.
• Good Communication & Presentation Skills.
• Knowledge of fire hydrant system & other fire / safety equipment’s & protection system.
• Knowledge of Computer – Power point / Excel / word / Internet / Emails etc.
• Compliance reports of Unsafe Act/Conditions reported.
• Compliance reports of Safety audit / Safety inspections / Accident investigations etc.
• Work permit report after completion of Job.
• Near miss /Incident/Accident reports.
• Inspection & testing certificates of Form 9-10-11, stability etc.
• Other statutory licenses related with safety.
• Monthly Report.
• Safety Inspection check lists.
• Checklist of Fire & safety equipment’s maintenance & services.
