We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Reporting Specialist, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book Operations

Purpose of the role:

The role sits within Treasury Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book Operations and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book calculation to deliver Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book reporting. The role supports production of key risk metrics, base and stressed Net Interest Income projections, and global stress testing requirements. It ensures outputs comply with internal and regulatory guidelines through robust analysis, reconciliation, validation, documentation, and stakeholder management across regions.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain the calculation model to deliver accurate, timely, and controlled Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book outputs and reports, including  Economic Value of Equity ,  Net Interest Income , and  Net Trading and Market Risk reporting for Group and local regulators (for assigned entities).
• Produce concise reporting and commentary and respond promptly to stakeholder and regulator queries.
• Support execution and delivery of stress testing exercises, including base and stressed Net Interest Income projections.
• Perform reconciliations, validation checks, and data quality reviews; log data quality issues impacting outputs in the relevant systems.
• Support implementation of new reporting requirements in line with internal policy and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain clear documentation and basis of preparation for all key process components.
• Identify and support re-engineering and continuous improvement opportunities (including periodic updates, changes, and amendments).
• Meet or exceed service level agreement performance standards.

To be successful you will:

• Professional qualification (Chartered Accountant, Cost and Works Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Master of Business Administration in Finance) or graduate with 3+ years’ experience (preferably in treasury, regulatory, or finance).
• Strong technical understanding of financial products (especially interest rate products), interest rate environments, balance sheet financial reporting, and the Basel framework.
• Experience in Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, Treasury, regulatory or financial reporting, or Global Markets (preferred).
• Knowledge of balance sheet and profit and loss attribution/analysis and fixed income valuations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access; knowledge of Structured Query Language and Microsoft Power Business Intelligence is an advantage.
• Ability to work across cultures and with multiple levels of seniority, managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
