About the job
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
- Prepare product/process documentation
- Test constraints and efficiencies of components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration and manufacturability
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulation analyses
- Assist in concept development, Commissioning testing and Installation support wherever required
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings
- Perform tolerance analysis and thermal simulations to optimize product performance
- Develop electrical, mechanical and optical specifications for product based on customer requirements
- Specify product engineering goals and parameters for production and line testing
- Evaluate and select materials and manufacturing processes to meet design requirements
- Support prototype build and testing activities, and iterate designs based on test results
- Provide technical support and training to other departments
Skill(s) required
AutoCAD GD&T Mechanical & Electrical Product Design SolidWorks
Earn certifications in these skills
Other requirements
- Experience in either - Concept Development, 3D Modelling, 2D Drawing, Production Engineering
- Basics of thermal design, ambient temperature measurement, thermocouple attachment methods, Tc measurement methods, Junction temperature measurements
- Knowledge of mechanical parts manufacturing techniques
- Prior Experience of Designing parts and assembly in SolidWorks
