Lead Specialist - Risk Consulting

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IKS team at MMIPL Mumbai. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The strategic risk services have a particular emphasis on Business Continuity Management. The purpose of this role is to help deliver projects and through the building and maintenance of effective client relationships aid the development of business. Their range of duties are varied and whilst key responsibilities are expressed here, they include the flexible execution of additional consulting, analytical and operational tasks as reasonably expected from time to time, i.e. assist in business development from writing proposals, delivering presentations to the sale of new engagements.

We will count on you to:

Client Service - BCP:

• Advising clients in transforming business continuity, crisis management, emergency management and disaster recovery solutions.
• Driving operational and technical resilience solutions to meet the current threats and enable timely business recovery.
• Performing BIA, RA for client processes, engaging in BCM assessments; resilient process and technology design, operational and service enhancement processes.
• Managing and providing oversight to the engagement lifecycle.
• Contributing to the eminence of the MMIPL’s BCM team.
• Develop and effectively deliver complex written and oral communications, such as proposals, technical concepts and deliverables.

What you need to have: 

• Relevant risk management qualification and Bachelor’s degree (ideally Master’s), and relevant fields.
• With 5+ years of relevant experience in BCM and relevant ISO, CBCP and/or MBCI Certifications.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, writing, listening.
• Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including Macros, VBA), Access and SharePoint.
• Knowledge in implementing, managing, and auditing an ISO-22301 BCMS.

• Understanding of various aspects of technology resilience – design and process aspects.
• Understanding of BCM related tools and software’s.

What makes you stand out?

• Business Resilience experience from another major consulting firm is desired with strong domain. knowledge and experience in Business Continuity Management.
• Ideally with secondary domain knowledge/experience in Emergency Response, Cyber Security.
• Familiarity with core statistical concepts e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values, etc.
• Knowhow of programming languages like Python or R, Power Apps and BI tools like Tableau.
• Ability to take initiatives to strive for improvement in analytical techniques, processes and outputs.
