Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP data migration, S/4HANA, LSMW, SAP BODS, and SAP ABAP. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end data migration projects involving both SAP and non-SAP legacy systems.

Key Requirements

• relevant 8+ years of experience in  SAP Data Migration with end-to-end implementation experience.

• Strong experience in migrating data from SAP/Non-SAP systems to SAP S/4HANA On-Premise .

• Hands-on expertise in LSMW with experience in at least 2 projects.

• Extensive work experience with SAP BODS or S/4HANA Migration Cockpit , preferably across at least 2 projects.

• Good knowledge of ETL design and development using SAP Data Services 4.2.

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and LTMOM .

• Strong experience with BODS Designer components , including:

  • Projects

  • Jobs

  • Workflows

  • Data Flows

  • Scripts

  • Data Stores

  • Formats

• Good understanding of SAP business process areas such as O2C, M2S, S2P, B2P , etc., along with experience working with various legacy systems.

• SAP ABAP experience is essential.

• Experience across the complete migration lifecycle, including:

  • Data mapping

  • Migration technical specifications

  • Migration solution development

  • Data validation

  • Reconciliation report design

• Strong understanding of Master Data and Transactional Data and their usage across end-to-end business processes.

• Experience in data transformation, extraction, cleansing, and migration for SAP implementations.

• Understanding of functional analysis, requirements gathering, and SAP business processes.

• Ability to work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to develop effective migration solutions and technical designs.

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills .

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical migration solutions for SAP S/4HANA data migration projects.

• Develop data migration strategies for the conversion of Master and Transactional Data from multiple legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA.

• Define legacy-to-source and source-to-target mappings in collaboration with business and functional teams.

• Define extraction rules and transformation logic for Master and Transactional Data.

• Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping and identify data conversion requirements.

• Define and implement data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading rules .

• Develop and maintain migration programs, ETL processes, and related technical components.

• Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure successful migration outcomes.

• Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution throughout migration cycles.

• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot migration-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Document migration requirements, technical specifications, mapping rules, and conversion logic.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination across technical, functional, and business stakeholders.

• Stay updated on relevant SAP S/4HANA migration tools, processes, and technical enhancements .
