Openhouse - Preschool & Extracurriculars | On-site Community Lead | 2 openings: East Bangalore & South Bangalore
Openhouse runs preschool, daycare, and after-school programs for children aged 1-12, right inside residential apartment communities in Bangalore and Kolkata. The community lead is the on-ground anchor for Openhouse inside an apartment community - making sure classes run smoothly, parents are happy, and the experience is consistently great. The role blends operations, classroom support, parent communication, and revenue ownership: you keep existing families and bring in new ones. Key responsibilities: A. Classroom & teacher support:1. Work closely with teachers so every class runs smoothly
2. Make sure materials and resources are ready before each class
3. Help with classroom management (settling children, transitions)
4. Keep the classroom ready and well maintained B. Quality & feedback:
1. Observe classes and give teachers structured feedback using Openhouse guidelines
2. Ensure curriculum, class flow and experience standards are followed
3. Flag challenges and work with the Cluster Head on improvements C. Parent communication & community:
1. Be the main point of contact for parents in the apartment
2. Build relationships with enrolled and prospective parents
3. Share timely updates on schedules, fees, make-up classes, substitutions and program changes
4. Handle parent queries, concerns and onboarding conversations D. Revenue, retention & growth:
1. Own revenue growth for your apartment community
2. Keep existing parents engaged and retained
3. Introduce Openhouse programs to new parents in the society and drive enrolments
4. Track leads, follow-ups, conversions, renewals and drop-offs; fill batches
5. Share regular updates with the Cluster Head on enrolments, revenue and feedback E. Operations & coordination:
1. Coordinate daily schedules between teachers, parents and apartment management
2. Handle attendance, make-ups and backups smoothly What the role offers: 1. Work at the intersection of education, community and operations
2. Hands-on exposure to classrooms and program execution
3. Build strong community relationships and real local impact
4. Growth path into operations, program management or cluster leadership Work calendar : 6 days a week, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (may vary slightly with class schedules)

1. 0–3 years of experience (freshers with strong aptitude welcome)
2. Background in education, early childhood, or related fields preferred
3. Comfortable with children and classroom environments
4. Confident talking to parents and handling conversations independently
5. Good communication; organised, proactive and detail-oriented
6. Open to a 6-day week, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, on-ground role
7. Adaptable and happy in a dynamic, on-ground role
