About the job

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who understands storytelling, social media trends, and how to turn raw footage into engaging visual content.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across short-form and long-form formats, including Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, Shorts, social media campaigns, advertisements, interviews, and promotional content.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into engaging, polished, and professional videos for multiple digital platforms.

Create content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.

Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and visual effects wherever required.

Work closely with the content, social media, and creative teams to understand briefs and translate ideas into compelling videos.

Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos suitable for different social media platforms.

Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, audio enhancement, and sound mixing.

Create motion graphics, typography animations, and visual elements to improve storytelling and overall production quality.

Stay updated with current editing styles, social media trends, viral formats, transitions, and evolving content consumption patterns.

Organise footage, project files, graphics, audio, and other creative assets efficiently.

Handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards.

Review edits based on internal or client feedback and make necessary revisions.

Support and guide junior editors and team members whenever required.

Skills & Requirements

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects will be highly preferred.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro is an added advantage.
Good understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, and colour grading.
Strong understanding of social media video formats and platform-specific requirements.
Ability to identify strong moments from raw footage and convert them into engaging short-form content.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a creative team.
Familiarity with AI-based video editing, audio enhancement, subtitle generation, and other creative tools will be an added advantage.
