We are looking for an experienced  Senior Data Science & Technology Leader to lead the delivery of complex data science, machine learning, software, and data infrastructure solutions across large-scale business environments. This role is suited for a senior technology professional who combines deep expertise in  Data Science, Advanced Computer Science, Machine Learning, software engineering, and enterprise technology delivery with strong business and client-facing experience.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of taking data-driven and technology solutions from concept through implementation and business adoption. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, clients, technology teams, and data science professionals to translate complex business challenges into practical, scalable, and high-impact solutions.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the delivery of complex  Data Science, Machine Learning, Software, and IT solutions across enterprise environments.
• Own end-to-end delivery across multiple data science and technology initiatives, from requirements and solution design through implementation and business adoption.
• Translate business and client requirements into practical, scalable, and commercially viable data and technology solutions.
• Provide technical and strategic direction across data science, machine learning, software engineering, and data infrastructure initiatives.
• Guide teams in applying appropriate  data science, machine learning, statistical, and programming methodologies to solve business problems.
• Oversee portfolios of data science and technology projects, ensuring delivery quality, timelines, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with business leaders, clients, technology teams, data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Drive implementation of data and technology solutions in complex real-world business environments.
• Evaluate technical architectures, data platforms, IT infrastructure, and implementation approaches to ensure delivery feasibility and scalability.
• Identify technical, operational, and delivery risks and establish effective mitigation strategies.
• Support solution architecture, technical proposals, client presentations, and strategic technology discussions.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, technology partners, and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to business growth through industry relationships, client engagements, solution development, and strategic opportunities.
• Stay current with developments in  Data Science, AI/ML, advanced analytics, software engineering, cloud, and data technologies .
• Mentor senior technical professionals and contribute to building high-performing data science and technology teams.
• Represent the organisation in relevant industry forums, client discussions, and professional networks.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 14+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Computing, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Consulting, or related commercial roles.
• Advanced degree with a  Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Advanced Computer Science, or a related discipline ; PhD is an advantage.
• Proven hands-on experience delivering  Data Science and Machine Learning solutions in real-world commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of data science and machine learning fundamentals, programming, analytics, and technology implementation.
• Significant experience leading end-to-end  data science, software, and technology delivery portfolios .
• Strong exposure to  IT infrastructure, enterprise technology, data infrastructure, and large-scale data environments .
• Ability to connect technical solutions with business requirements, client objectives, and measurable commercial outcomes.
• Strong experience working directly with  business leaders, enterprise clients, and senior stakeholders .
• Demonstrated ability to operate beyond laboratory or model-development environments and successfully deploy solutions into production and business operations.
• Experience working across large corporate or industry environments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of software development, data platforms, systems integration, and enterprise delivery practices.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technology initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and shape technology-led solutions.
• Well-established  industry network and professional relationships across relevant technology, data science, or enterprise domains.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence technical and business decisions at senior levels.
