Job Description

With 54 facilities worldwide, Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) is the largest network of bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories providing comprehensive laboratory services for the world's largest pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies. 

Behind the scenes, BPT is enabled by global engineering teams working on next-generation applications like Eurofins Quality Management System(eQMS). eQMS is sophisticated web application that will be used by our scientists, engineers, and technicians to manage several quality and compliance management processes. 

This role reports to an Engineering Manager and is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable full stack applications using Angular, .NET Core, and Azure Cosmos DB, with additional involvement in Azure Data Factory-based integrations and data migration initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Angular, .NET Core, Web API, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern UI development practices.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable backend services using .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices principles, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Design and optimize Cosmos DB data models, queries, partitioning strategies, and performance patterns for enterprise-scale applications.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality application features.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD, release readiness, application support, defect resolution, and production stabilization activities.
• Support responsibilities related to Azure Data Factory pipelines, data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and integration activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and promote clean code, secure development, and maintainable architecture practices.

Technical Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering full stack application development using Angular, .NET Core, and Azure Cosmos DB, with exposure to Azure Data Factory and enterprise data migration activities.

• Strong hands-on experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web application development.
• Strong backend development experience using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, RESTful services, and microservices-based architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including data modelling, indexing, partitioning, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of SQL, NoSQL databases, cloud-native application design, integration patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and migration frameworks.
• Experience with unit testing, code quality tools, debugging, application performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with strong collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

MCA or Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA : Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
