Job responsibilities:-

• Experience of 4-15 years in handling advanced facilities for the Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Microelectronics sectors and their associated R&D facilities. 
• Preparation of Schematic layout incorporating process equipment per PFD and Process data input. Space planning per equipment sizes, logical movement of Personnel, Materials, Washing, Waste movement in the production facility. Ability to generate multiple options with minimal inputs from client, other disciplines.
• Planning should be compliant with GMP requirements able to satisfy final validation requirements per inspecting agencies.
• Well versed with Plasma fractionation, Cell and Gene Therapy, Bio Pharma facilities catering to Vaccines, Hormones, Monoclonal antibodies and Therapeutic Enzymes. Apply experience and knowledge to design new facility types.
• Well versed with Micro Electronics facilities such as OSATs, FAB buildings and associated CUP, site utilities. 
• Explain production facility concepts to clients, present various options for production facilities, material handling concepts, supporting utility options, site master planning, site development scenarios, and be able to get a buy in from the client on an option that satisfies the program objectives.
• Author the concept of personnel gowning requirements as applicable for the project. Incorporate safety in design over and above statutory norms.
• Be ready to challenge client requirements or defend a proposed design option with a client on technical grounds to get the best solution as the result.
• Lead the sustainability efforts on a project and assign components to various disciplines, internal and external stake holders as required.

• Able to work as individual contributor during the feasibility, concept and basic phases and use various visualization and presentation software tools including BIM and hand sketches to accomplish required results.
• Science background preferred in pre collage curriculum and a clear understanding of Chemicals & solvents and their impact on statutory compliance and Building Architecture. 
• Thorough knowledge of codes mainly but not limited to – NBC, CCOE, Factory Inspector, HAC, GMP & EU guidelines (for pharma), IBC, IFC, Solvent and Hazardous Gases compliance codes.
• Thorough understanding of Cleanroom details and fabrication process coordination with all stakeholders.
• Able to act as a design leader during the preliminary project phases to enable other engineering disciplines to be onboarded. Transition to a key support role and incorporate other discipline requirements in the detail design phase.
• Detail out the layouts as it progresses the design phases, add Architectural elements per the relevant detail level, define the Architectural vocabulary for the building and site development, specify construction materials, detailing complex elements to enable smooth site execution, provide critical inputs during site visits and construction, resolve queries and any challenges that may arise during construction drawing upon experience to provide a suitable solution.
• Coordinate and align with all disciplines through all project stages to accomplish project success.
• Be a brand ambassador for Jacobs at industry events, conferences and gatherings highlighting our technical excellence and emphasizing our corporate values of sustainable development.

Full time B. Arch (5 years, 10 semesters) from an Institute recognized by the COA India, registered with the Council of Architecture India.
