About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day import and export operations, including shipment planning and coordination.2. Prepare and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of entry, and certificates of origin.
3. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, transporters, and overseas suppliers or customers.
4. Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
5. Coordinate customs clearance and resolve documentation-related issues.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, DGFT guidelines, and other import/export requirements.
7. Maintain records of shipments, invoices, payments, and other trade documents.
8. Coordinate with internal departments, including finance, logistics, procurement, and sales.
9. Assist with export-import costing, freight charges, and shipment-related expenses.
10. Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
