Senior Power BI Developer - Data Analytics

Role : Senior Power BI DeveloperDescription : We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with 5 - 6 years of experience in BI, data visualization, and analytics. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, business-friendly dashboards.Experience in pharmaceutical / life sciences, Omnichannel, Veeva, or commercial analytics is preferred.Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.- Develop complex DAX measures, KPIs, time intelligence, variance, and performance calculations.- Build optimized Star Schema / dimensional data models.- Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query / M.- Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.- Manage Power BI Service including workspaces, refreshes, RLS, and deployments.- Optimize report and semantic-model performance.- Work closely with business, data engineering, and analytics teams to deliver reporting solutions.- Support UAT, production issues, enhancements, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.Required Skills : - 5 - 6 years of Power BI / BI development experience.- Strong Power BI Desktop & Service experience.- Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling skills.- Strong understanding of dashboard design and visualization best practices.- Experience with Power BI performance optimization.- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.Preferred : - Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences commercial analytics experience.- Understanding of Omnichannel / HCP engagement data.- Exposure to Veeva CRM / Veeva Vault.- Experience with Databricks / Azure data platforms.- Power BI / Microsoft Fabric certification.
