Sr. ETL Developer (Matillion + Snowflake)

Role: Sr. ETL Developer (Matillion + Snowflake) Location: Remote (India) Experience : 12+ Years Objectives Migration of legacy Data Services and SQL data warehouse solution to Matillion/Snowflake. Supply chain, Inventory, Purchasing, Transportation etc. Creation of Financial Data Warehouse Continued expansion of data feeds from CRM (Sugar), website (Shopify), PIM (Stibo) Documentation of all completed solutions Summarized formal job description: Primary role overview: The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for ingesting and preparing corporate data for reporting and analysis, using relational database and OLAP technologies. The role involves developing complex logical database designs and supporting corporate information system requirements. Key responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing structured and unstructured data; develop ETL processes for data warehousing; collaborate with data analysts; optimize data warehouse performance; maintain documentation; ensure data integrity; manage data infrastructure and mentor junior staff. Travel requirement: The position does not require travel. Required technical skills : 5-7 years of ETL development experience; high proficiency in SQL; experience with analytical programming languages such as Python or R; familiarity with cloud data environments like Snowflake, AWS, Azure/Fabric, or Google Cloud Platform; strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional database design. Experience and education : Requires a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in data modeling and development or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical demands and work environment: The position is typical of a general office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental condition
