SERVICENOW SECOPS LEAD DEVELOPER

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SERVICENOW SECOPS LEAD DEVELOPER to drive our IT Services security automation and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will architect and implement robust security solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment between ITIL frameworks and advanced security operations. This position is critical for enhancing our vulnerability management capabilities, streamlining incident response workflows, and integrating third-party security tools to fortify our overall security posture against emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enforce security policies and automate critical workflows.
  
• Utilize Flow Designer and Workflow tools to build efficient, scalable processes for security operations and service delivery.
  
• Lead the integration of external third-party security applications with the ServiceNow platform to create a unified security view.
  
• Manage and optimize the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR) modules to ensure rapid detection and remediation of threats.
  
• Oversee end-to-end vulnerability management and remediation lifecycles, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.
  
• Apply deep knowledge of ITIL and Security Operations best practices to refine processes and improve operational efficiency.
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams regarding secure coding practices and ServiceNow architecture.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 8 to 12 years of professional experience within the IT Services sector, with a significant portion dedicated to ServiceNow development.
  
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in core ServiceNow scripting languages, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and ACL configuration.
  
• Show proven expertise in configuring Flow Designer and legacy Workflow tools for complex automation scenarios.
  
• Have a strong background in integrating external security tools and platforms with ServiceNow.
  
• Exhibit comprehensive understanding of ITIL methodologies and Security Operations (SecOps) processes.
  
• Hold specific experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR) applications.
  
• Be skilled in managing vulnerability lifecycles, from identification and assessment to remediation and reporting.
