Azure DevOps Engineer - Azure Platform
PEOPLE STAFFING SOLUTIONS
- Manage and maintain Git repositories, ensuring proper branching strategies, access control, and version management.- Handle GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including creation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of build and deployment workflows.- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to enable stable and efficient application releases.- Administer and support Azure cloud resources, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.- Work with Azure services including : 1. PostgreSQL Flexible Server2. Azure Key Vaults3. Virtual Machines (VMs)4. Storage Accounts5. Azure Redis Cache6. NSGs and Subnets- Implement and maintain infrastructure configurations aligned with best practices and organizational standards.- Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring activities.- Create, configure, and maintain monitors and alerts using Datadog and other monitoring platforms to ensure proactive incident detection.- Analyze alerts, logs, and metrics to identify issues and support root cause analysis.- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support application reliability and performance.Technical Skills : - Version Control & CI/CD : Git, GitLab, GitLab CI/CD- Cloud Platform : Microsoft Azure- Azure Services : PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Key Vaults, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Redis- Scripting & Automation : Python, Shell Scripting- Monitoring & Observability : Datadog and other monitoring/alerting toolsFunctional & Process Skills : - CI/CD pipeline design and support- Cloud infrastructure operations and support- Monitoring, alerting, and incident management- Automation and operational efficiencySoft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams- Ownership mindset with attention to reliability and quality- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment (ref:hirist.tech)
