Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be eager to build a career in finance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Reconcile supplier invoices with the accounting system.
• Prepare supplier payment sheets and maintain payment records.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain and organise financial documents and accounting records.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and smooth operations.
• Perform data entry and ensure timely updates in accounting software.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 02 years of accounting experience (including internships/freshers with relevant knowledge).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data management.
• Familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage.

• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
