Bounteous - SAP Hybris Developer - Java

Key Responsibilities : - Debug and resolve issues in SAP Commerce (Hybris) storefront and order management modules.- Analyze incidents and implement code fixes to ensure system stability.- Support root cause analysis (RCA) activities and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.- Assist in application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.- Participate in release validation, smoke testing, and deployment support activities.- Collaborate with QA, frontend, and support teams to deliver integrated solutions.- Follow ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes.- Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge repositories.- Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and support SLAs.- Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts as required.Required Skills & Experience : - 35 years of experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) development and support.- Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture and platform fundamentals.- Hands-on experience with : 1. SAP Commerce (Hybris)2. Java / J2EE3. Spring Framework4. OCC APIs5. REST Services- Experience troubleshooting production issues and implementing code fixes.- Familiarity with : 1. Git2. Maven3. CI/CD processes4. Application deployment and release management- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills : - Exposure to eCommerce business processes and order management workflows.- Understanding of ITIL processes and managed services environments.- Experience working in a 24x5 or 24x7 support model.- Knowledge of cloud-based deployment environments is an advantage.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : - Timely resolution of assigned incidents and service requests.- Adherence to coding and quality standards.- Reduction in recurring production issues through effective RCA.- Compliance with SLA and support commitments.- Contribution to documentation and knowledge management initiatives.Preferred Candidate Profile : - Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced support environment.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Willingness to participate in shift-based and on-call support rotations (ref:hirist.tech)
