Business Development Manager

Cencora seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by selling products and services to healthcare customers. The role involves building customer relationships, managing sales pipelines, executing account plans, and providing market insights to support commercial strategy in the pharmaceutical and life sciences logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by assessing needs and aligning solutions to requirements
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and customer-facing event participation
- Progress sales opportunities from qualification through proposal development and closure
- Execute account plans that drive customer retention, expansion, and long-term value
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and support growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, communications, or related field
- 4+ years sales, account management, or business development experience
- Fluent in English for business communication
- In-depth knowledge of specialty, transport, and pharmaceutical logistics operations
- Strong pharmaceutical and life sciences market knowledge with regulatory framework understanding
- Salesforce CRM proficiency and proven sales pipeline management capability
- Financial acumen with ability to analyze costs, margins, and develop forecasts
