Finance Controller - Manufacturing Industry

Overview:

We are hiring a Finance  Controller to support the organization's financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and business controlling functions. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance through effective budgeting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, audit coordination, financial reporting, and business analysis. This position is ideal for finance professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic manufacturing environment and partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions. You will be reporting to Director and CFO. 

Job Responsibility :

• Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the annual budgeting process by coordinating with various departments and consolidating financial plans.
  • Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, improve profitability, and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
• Financial Controlling & Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial reports covering revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, ROC, and other applicable regulations.
  • Support the CFO in financial controls, risk management, and tax planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to maintain financial systems such as Tally/ERP for accurate reporting.
• Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor working capital and liquidity to support business operations.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist in capital expenditure planning.
• Audit & Compliance
  • Coordinate statutory, tax, and transfer pricing audits.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
  • Work closely with the Company Secretary on ROC and other regulatory filings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales teams to ensure accurate financial transaction recording.
  • Validate Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain accurate product costing.
  • Share updated costing information to support pricing and commercial decisions.
• Treasury & Insurance:
  • Coordinate with banks for import documentation and External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) processes.
  • Manage banking documentation and regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate insurance renewals, endorsements, and claims.

Job Requirements:

• Education : M.Com or CA Inter qualification
• Experience : 6–8 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, budgeting, reporting, audit, and compliance.
• Experience in a manufacturing, trading, or similar corporate environment is preferred.
• Exposure to GST, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, ROC filings, payroll, and working capital management is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet statutory deadlines.
