MERN Stack Developer

Job Description:

Role Summary:
Own end-to-end development of scalable web applications using the MERN stack, drive architecture decisions, and mentor the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure full-stack applications (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Define system architecture, APIs, and database schema design
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and optimize performance
• Integrate third-party services, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for release cycles
• Mentor junior developers and guide technical decisions

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack development (MERN preferred)
• Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management), Node.js, Express
• Deep understanding of MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience with system design, scalability, and cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Git workflows
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• React Native
• Capacitor
• Mobile app development for both Android and iOS

Good to Have:

• Experience in Microservices architecture
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations or analytics platforms
• Domain exposure (Insurance/Healthcare is a plus for your context)
