Blurring Boundaries is hiring Junior Architects | Mumbai
Blurring Boundaries is a Mumbai-based architecture studio working on contextual, sustainable and nature-driven projects across India.
Our work explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, climate and materials creating spaces that are rooted in their surroundings while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.
We are looking for a Junior Architect (13 years experience) to join our growing team and work closely with the design team across various stages of projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop architectural drawings and design documentation based on the studios design direction
Translate concepts into detailed plans, sections, elevations and working drawings
Create and develop 3D models and visualisations
Explore materials, details and construction solutions
Assist in consultant coordination and project documentation
Support site coordination and understand execution processes
Participate in design reviews, discussions and presentations
What we are looking for
Strong interest in architecture and design exploration
Good imagination and spatial understanding
Ability to develop ideas through drawings, models and details
Eye for materials, proportions and architectural detailing
Interest in sustainable, contextual and material-driven architecture
Willingness to learn, experiment and grow with the studio
Software Skills
AutoCAD (essential)
SketchUp / Rhino
Twinmotion or similar rendering tools
Knowledge of Rhino, organic modelling and complex geometries will be an advantage.
Candidates should be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate independently.
