Job Title: Data Engineer Work Location: Any Infosys Development Center (Preferred: Bangalore, Karnataka) Experience: Relevant Experience: 5+ Years Total Experience: 6–8 Years Domain: Banking Additional Details Work Mode: Hybrid Shift Timing: General Shift (10:00 AM – 7:15 PM) Job Overview We are hiring an experienced Data Engineer to support data-driven initiatives for the NatWest project. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python, SQL, AWS, and Snowflake, along with leadership capabilities to manage teams and drive data engineering solutions at scale. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures Work extensively with Python, SQL, and AWS services for data processing and transformation Build and optimize data workflows using Snowflake Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring the timely delivery of projects Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data systems Drive automation and efficiency in data engineering processes Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience in Python Advanced proficiency in SQL Expertise in Data Engineering concepts and pipeline development Proven experience in team handling/leadership roles Desired Skills Working knowledge of Snowflake Experience in Banking domain projects Exposure to data warehousing and ETL frameworks Familiarity with data modeling and optimization techniques Soft Skills
