They combine computational geometry, cloud infrastructure, and generative AI to power next-generation tools that automate 3D structural modeling and geometrical placements. Their platform is designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across modern design and engineering environments. They are currently looking for a Backend Engineer specializing in design algorithms to join their engineering team and contribute to the development of high-performance systems that power the geometry and automation layers of their platform. This is a full-time contract role, renewable depending on ongoing project needs and performance , offering strong potential for long-term collaboration in a high-impact engineering environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop backend algorithms that support 3D geometry computation and design automation. • Implement efficient data structures and algorithmic solutions using Java and relevant object model libraries. • Develop and optimize algorithms that automate structural geometrical placements and design processes. • Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate backend algorithms with visualization and rendering layers. • Utilize cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud services, to support scalable geometry processing. • Analyze and refine existing algorithms to improve performance, accuracy, and reliability. • Work with cross-functional teams to translate design and engineering requirements into scalable backend solutions. • Document algorithmic approaches, methodologies, and tech
