About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Artist to act as the ultimate bridge between visual creative direction and real-time technical execution. Your mission is to push our projects to the absolute peak of visual excellence while ensuring our real-time assets remain flawlessly optimized for demanding hardware frameworks, including virtual reality ecosystems.

You are not just a content creator; you are a visual systems engineer. You will take raw character models and environment assets, construct custom high-performance shaders, script complex visual effects (VFX), and ruthlessly optimize vertex counts and draw calls. Every single frame matters.

• Visual Excellence without Performance Drag: We value technical artists who can deliver stunning, cinematic atmospheres without tanking runtime framerates. Your custom shaders and effects must balance visual beauty with clean processing logic.
• Aggressive Asset Optimization: Real-time rendering bottlenecks are your natural enemy. You will systematically audit polygon budgets, texture memory allocation, and layout workflows to eliminate rendering lag and memory leaks.
• Pipeline Automation: You will construct custom tools, scripts, and automation mechanisms that accelerate the asset pipeline, allowing creators to move from creation to preview instantly.
• Smart Render Bottleneck Resolution: You are responsible for maintaining a seamless visual experience. You will isolate and naturally resolve standard rendering issues, flickering artifacts, or real-time layout discrepancies under tight production timelines.
• Pacing under Sprint Timelines: Digital media and game production move at a breakneck pace. You must be comfortable managing a reliable production cadence, updating models, and delivering fully optimized assets under aggressive deadlines.

• Proven Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Technical Artist working within real-time rendering environments, runtime game engines, or fast-paced digital pipelines.
• Shader Development & VFX Mastery: Exceptional skill in authoring custom HLSL/GLSL shaders and constructing complex real-time visual effect systems.
• Advanced Rendering Profiling: Absolute mastery of diagnostic tools to analyze draw calls, vertex bottlenecks, fill-rate issues, and memory budgets.
• Scripting & Toolkit Building: Proficiency in Python, C#, or pipeline-specific scripting languages to build custom pipeline expansions and data conduits.
