Senior Power Platform Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive, responsive Power Apps canvas apps using reusable components, Power Fx, delegation-aware data access, and performance tuning.
• Translate business requirements and user journeys into production-ready applications and own features end to end.
• Design and implement scalable Power Automate cloud flows, child flows, approvals, error handling, retry patterns, and high-volume processing.
• Implement Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, alternate keys, calculated and rollup fields, business rules, and security models.
• Integrate Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder models, and prompt-based actions into Canvas Apps and broader Power Platform solutions.
• Integrate solutions with external systems and Microsoft 365 services using standard and custom connectors, Power Automate, and APIs.
• Apply Power Platform ALM using solutions, layers, environment variables, connection references, pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot defects, delegation issues, performance problems, and production issues across apps, flows, and Dataverse.
• Follow Power Platform governance, licensing, data loss prevention, security, and environment-strategy requirements.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and handover materials while supporting testing, UAT, deployment, and releases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, business analysts, and developers, and guide junior developers.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of overall application development experience with substantial recent Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps canvas apps, including component reuse, responsive design, Power Fx, collections, variables, delegation, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience designing scalable Power Automate workflows with error handling, child flows, approvals, and long-running or high-volume patterns.
• Proven Dataverse experience with tables, columns, relationships, alternate keys, calculated and rollup fields, and business rules.
• Practical command of Dataverse security roles, teams, business units, row-level security, and column-level security.
• Working knowledge of integrating AI agents and Copilot capabilities using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience integrating external systems and Microsoft 365 services through standard and custom connectors and APIs.
• Understanding of Power Platform ALM, solutions, environment variables, connection references, and automated deployment.
• Awareness of Power Platform governance, licensing implications, and DLP policies.
• Ability to debug and performance-tune apps and flows and resolve defects through closure.
• Strong client-facing communication skills for requirements discussions, demos, and explaining design decisions.
• Preferred experience with model-driven apps, Power Pages, Power BI, Copilot Studio agents, PCF components, JavaScript, C# plug-ins, Azure Functions, Azure integration services, Dataverse migration tooling, Dynamics 365, consulting or global delivery environments, presales or demo support, and reusable components or practice IP.
• Preferred Microsoft certifications include PL-400, PL-200, PL-600, or AI-102.
