GSPANN - System Engineer - Zabbix/AppDynamics

Role Overview :We are seeking a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in application monitoring, observability, and integration, capable of owning application support from development through production. The ideal candidate combines monitoring tool expertise (AppDynamics/Zabbix) with solid programming and API integration skills to support end-to-end application lifecycle management.Key Responsibilities :- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using observability tools (AppDynamics, Zabbix or any other tools).- Onboard new applications onto monitoring platforms and manage tool migrations (e.g., AppD to Zabbix or Similar).- Design and implement integrations between systems using REST APIs.- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python.- Support the full application lifecycle from development and deployment through production support.- Manage code effectively, including version control, branching, and release processes.- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve incidents and improve system reliability.- Contribute to root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement in monitoring and support processes.Required Skills & Experience :- Hands-on experience with AppDynamics and/or Zabbix (or similar APM/monitoring tools).- Strong understanding of observability principles - metrics, logs, tracing, alerting.- Proficiency in REST API design, integration, and troubleshooting.- Solid Python programming and scripting skills for automation.- Experience with code management tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.- Practical experience supporting applications in production environments.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently on system-level integration challenges.Good to Have :- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).- Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).- ITIL or incident management process familiarity.
