SQL Developer

Job Title : SQL DeveloperExperience : 5+ YearsEmployment Type : Full-TimeJob Summary : We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with 5+ years of expertise in database development, query optimization, and data management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions that support business applications and reporting needs. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL programming, and experience working with large-scale databases.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.- Develop and support ETL processes for data integration and migration.- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.- Create and maintain database schemas, tables, and data models.- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.- Generate reports and support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.- Participate in database deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer or Database Developer.- Strong expertise in SQL programming and relational database concepts.- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.- Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.- Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning.- Experience with ETL processes and data migration activities.- Familiarity with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau.- Knowledge of version control and database deployment practices.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.- Exposure to Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for automation.- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and large datasets.
