Associate - Financial Analyst
NEC Software Solutions is hiring for the role of Associate – Financial Analyst!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Manage accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account management.
- Take ownership of month-end closing activities, variance analysis, and business segment P&L finalization.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and performance trends.
- Assist senior business partners with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Maintain and analyze headcount data while ensuring the accuracy of business unit information.
- Prepare business review presentations and reporting packs.
- Generate billing reports and perform monthly financial analysis.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field with an accounting specialization.
- 1–3 years of experience, preferably in a software-based business environment.
- Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with SAP and TM1 is an added advantage.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong academic background.
